things to check before you call

  • Check all cable connections for any that may have worked themselves loose
  • Check to see if your pc has not powered itself off because of a power surge
  • Is your monitor turned on?
  • Simple things are often times overlooked.

 Helpful "tech" Terms 
  • Modem: the box that connects your phone line to your pc
  • Server: A host computer that delivers files and web pages.

  • Re-boot: shutting off your computer to restart
  • Hard drive: the disk in your pc that contains all the data on your computer
